"When I came back to university for my final year, I had a lot of expectations about the year ahead. Learning to ring bells, visiting half the bell towers in the city and entering a national competition wasn't on my list, but it was honestly one of the best decisions I made that year. Last September, I had never even seen a church bell, or been near a tower, but everyone was so welcoming I felt instantly at home, and knew I had found my place. I loved every minute of it, from standing on breeze blocks because I couldn't reach the rope, to the weekly pub socials after! And even though I've graduated now, I'm sure I'll find myself back ringing before long"
